Meet Dr. Onjukka
Dr. Onjukka was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
He received a BS degree in Biology in Tennessee before moving to Southern California to complete his dental training at Loma Linda University, where he received both his DDS and Periodontics certificate. While in dental school, he met his wife, Judy, who also received her DDS. Together, they moved to Maine to pursue their dental careers.
Dr. Onjukka is trained in non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal disease, soft tissue grafting, bone regeneration around teeth, bone grafting and dental implant placement, extractions, sinus lifts, and crown lengthening, among other procedures. He has special interest in soft tissue enhancement as a part of implant planning and treatment.
Apart from periodontics, Dr. Onjukka enjoys spending time with his wife surfing, searching for the best restaurants, and spending time outdoors hiking and golfing.
Dr. Onjukka will be seeing patients in both our Portland and Brunswick offices.
